Our Story

David and Gaby met at McCann Erickson in 2007 when they both began working in the wacky world of advertising. They were both digital producers and became friends as part of the tight-knit department. In 2009 David and Gaby became neighbors living only 2 blocks apart and found more opportunities to spend time together. They would go to local restaurants and bars and even ventured out to the local laundromats together to make the chore of doing laundry more fun. In late 2009 friendship blossomed into romance and by early 2010 their shared friends learned of and celebrated their relationship.

 

David and Gaby still have challenging yet rewarding jobs. Gaby works at Havas Worldwide San Francisco, an advertising agency, and David works at Levi's running creative projects. In their free time they love to sample delicious local food and drinks, plan hiking and camping expeditions, attend music and theater events, and spend time with friends and family. They are city folk, but have an immense love for the world's natural beauty and have traveled to Sweden, the Netherlands, Italy, France, Belgium, and the Carribean together. In November of 2012, they took a weekend getaway to Yosemite, just as the first snows of the season were falling, and David proposed to Gaby in front of the Merced river near a viewpoint of Yosemite Falls.
